Please read below for a message from our Principal, Mr. Flanagan:

All Admin Christmas

Dear ÉSBCHS Families,

As we head into the final days before the winter break, I want to reflect on the incredible energy that has filled our school. It has been a truly cheerful time to be at École Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School, and the sense of community spirit has never been stronger.

One of the absolute highlights of our week was the spectacular production of "Christmas in the Land of Oz". I want to extend a massive thank you and a standing ovation to Mrs. Yardley and her Drama 20 students. It was a hilarious, creative, and entertaining show that had the entire audience laughing and cheering. The talent on that stage was a testament to the hard work and passion of our performing arts department; thank you for bringing so much joy to our school!

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of festive fun and friendly competition. From the creativity of our door decorating and gingerbread house making to the high-energy Festive Elf Challenges, our classrooms and hallways have been alive with holiday magic. We also shared plenty of laughter during our "Pie a Teacher" fundraiser, which provided a hilarious (and messy!) way to support a great cause.

A huge thank you to our Leadership students and their teachers, Ms. Kolwich and Mrs. Froland, for their incredible work in organizing these events and fostering such a vibrant school culture.

We want to extend a massive thank you to our SAPP (Student Activists for Peace and Preservation) students and Ms. Kolwich for their tireless dedication to the Christmas Elves initiative. To our students and families: thank you for your overwhelming generosity. Your donations over the last few weeks, totaling an incredible $3,854.57, will make a tangible difference in our community this season. It is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we look out for one another.

We also celebrated a very special milestone this week: Luna, our wellness dog, made her first official visit to ÉSBCHS! Her presence brought an immediate sense of calm and joy to both students and staff alike. We look forward to many more visits from Luna as she becomes a cherished part of our school family.

As we prepare to transition into the holidays, I am reminded that the "magic" of this season isn't found in the events themselves, but in the kindness and connections they foster. At ÉSBCHS, we don’t just share a building; we share a commitment to lifting each other up. May the peace and joy we’ve felt in our school over these last few weeks follow you home and stay with you throughout the new year.

Wishing you all a restful, safe, and happy holiday season!

Warmly,

Mr. S. Flanagan

Principal, ÉSBCHS
